Peter Wagener

Peter is a Chief Technology Officer with a background in information technology, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and customer-centered product development.

Background

After obtaining a B.S. in Computer Engineering , Peter began his career at Sun Microsystems, where he contributed to kernel driver development and authored eight patents related to distributed computing techniques. It was there he discovered his value as a trusted voice in technology development, going on to launch his own consultancy, where he helped businesses deepen their relationships with consumers through customer-centered strategies.

After earning a Master’s in Business Administration, Peter’s consulting work led him to be named the VP of Social Media Technology at Bank of America, where his expertise helped the global institution amplify its brand and remain competitive during an age of digital disruption. Later in his career, he would go on to be appointed the first engineering Director of a Big Data start-up focused on helping companies improve their inbound marketing efforts. After a proven track record of growth, Peter was recruited by CardFlight, a credit card processing platform, where he increased user base growth from 8K to 100K during his tenure as Chief Technology Officer.

Peter joined Ichor in 2022, where he brings a wealth of technology experience and modern data analysis expertise.  He is working to expand the breadth and depth of data-centric insights Ichor delivers to its clients.

Outside of Work

Peter enjoys jogging around NYC, watching Sci Fi that is so bad it’s good, and spending quality time with family and friends.
